How can I get a signal?

I cant get any tv signal in my bedroom even though I have tried 2 ariels and re tuning the tv. I cant get freeview because there is no signal in our area and I have tried moving the tv to a different position. I cant afford sky so is there some kind of booster you can buy or another way I can pick it up?
