If the U.S. government knew Israel had WMD in 1986 why didn't they attack Israel instead of Iraq during the ?

This really doesn't belong in this section, but think about this: Israel is not controlled by radical Muslims whose religion promotes violence and terrorism, whose government turns a blind eye to threats to world security. Israel is simply building up a defense from such nations.
