Would Heath Ledger be alive today if he had never played the Joker?

I think he would still be alive if he didn't play the joker. He became obsessed with him, he even believed at one point he was the joker. He thought he was all the things the joker was. And also, he couldn't sleep because of his character that's why he had the prescription drugs. So i think he would still be alive.
