What should i do if i'm a minor being sued due to a car acc. where barely any physical injury/damage was done?

My young friend, you have not told us the whole story. how on earth can someone sue you for damages that only happened to a tail light. As a lawyer I have a feeling there is more to this story. If as you say , you were a minor at the time of the accident, you will be deemed not to have any ets except your insurance coverage, which is more that adequate. In any case the insurance company will take over the case if it comes to court. Why are they not being more aggressive in their settlement of the case?, is it because she is claiming more than the actual damage?.If you have insurance, you have nothing to worry about, go off to college and have the time of your life, dont forget to study a little in between the parties. Your parents have nothing to worry about, so they can rest easy. We see this sort of thing every day, my office will not handle these people but someone always will ,much to the shame of our profession.
